Dyka Plastic Pipe Systems s.r.l. was founded on October 2008, in Bucharest, Romania as a subsidiary of Dyka Group.
Our origins are in the fifties’ Netherland, when Albert van Dijk together with Jan Katers established the DYKA Company. Two visionary and inventive men foresaw at that times, the importance of PVC raw material in the installation works, dominated by lead and copper.
Through times, their PVC pipes and fittings range gained a significant reputation on the market, providing Dyka with a continuous growth, which lead the company to a nowadays main European producer of plastic pipes and fittings for gas and water supply, internal and external sewerage systems, and pressure systems made out of PVC, PE and PP.
Since 1987, Dyka is part of Tessenderlo Group. Acting in more than 100 branches, spread in 20 countries and a turnover of about 2.5 bilion euros, Tessenderlo is a European and worldwide leader in most of its main 3 sectors’ divisions like: chemicals, plastic converting and specialties.
Dyka Group has production units in countries like Netherland, Belgium, France and Poland, all of them certificated to ISO 9001; it acts also in countries like: Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany and United Kingdom and registers a turnover of about 330 million euro. And by the help of DYKA Export Division our products are also known in more than 50 countries of the world.
